Ykenn slowly followed up a tree, gripping at the trunk and slowly heaving himself upwards.

Topaz continued forward. The forest opened up. A field of little piles of dust. Those had been there for a long time. Once he got further he found the corpses. He shook the bodies, saddened by that, but he continued. As he shook the fairy dust fell into his pouch.

Ykenn sighed, wondering why he was even bothering. But part of him was worried about the illness so he followed along through the trees.

After a few more he a sufficient amount of fairy dust. He took a deep breathe. Bright blue scaly wings sprouted from his back, sticking through holes in his clothes. He apologized to the fairies, and flew.

Rose immediately sprung into the air after Topaz, flying far back and fast.

His flight was sloppy from his un-stretched wings. He flew slowly until his wings felt more secure. He flew towards a human village. Ready to get the final ingredient for the healers.

"Wait! Wait!" he shrieked, then gave up and slowly climbed down the tree, worrying about disease.

Rose paused, suddenly timid as she saw them approaching the humans. She flew back to Ykenn nervously. "Here. I'll- I'll carry you." She splayed her claws invitingly, and mimed gripping his shoulders with them.

Ykenn was about to refuse, but at the offer he could barely contain his excitement. "Uhh... I'd love to be in the sky! But... I'm... a little big?"
He motioned at his slightly larger size.

Topaz neared the village. Staying out of sight for now. "Blood of human, fairy dust, scales of a impure breed." He had two of the ingredients already. He repeated the list in his head. Worrying about how this was going to go.

With a sigh. He rid himself of his wings, and pulled out a knife from a small bag he was holding. He waited for a human to get distanced from the rest. He sped out, covered the human's mouth knocked him out. He dragged him back into the forest and drained only a small amount of his blood. In haste, he flew off, speeding back towards the mountains, first needing to stop in the fairy forest, as he wasn't built to fly for very long times.

'Rose," she replied smiling shyly, jaws bristling with endless amounts of short, razored teeth. "Oh look! He's coming back- Look!" She guided his body to the direction of the approaching form by sweeping her wing tentatively over his shoulder.

His wings gave out and landed straight back in the forest. "Still don't have any stamina, do I?" He asked himself. He sighed and began getting ready to spend the night.

Ykenn smiled a bit at her gentleness and watched Topaz as he landed a little out of sight under the trees.
"So, Rose... You don't mind right?" He fluttered a wing.
